Abstract:
Round Robin No. 29 of the ORKING Group on Analytical Chemistry ICRPC was conducted for the purpose of evaluating two assay methods for elemental aluminum and a method for measuring average particle diameter. Interlaboratory agreement was not obtained in any of the test methods, although intralaboratory agreement was good. The reason for this disagreement is unclear, but a need for calibration standards and closer supervision of round robins is indicated. No basis for changing specification methods was established.
