Abstract:

Sufficient conditions for the stability of quite general nonlinear andor time-varying networks are developed. These stability conditions are sought in terms of the real-frequency characteristics of the linear time-invariant subnetwork and the bounds on the nonlinear andor time-varying RLC elements in a manner analogous to the Nyquist stability criterion for linear time-invariant case.
