Abstract:

The report describes development and operation of a null-reference feed system for the directional waveguide glide-slope antenna and the results of pattern measurements performed in the antenna near field. The operation of an aperture-field monitor for the waveguide array is also described. A recommendation is made for the location of a far-field monitor, and flight-test results at both Calverton and Pittsburgh are described. Author
