Procedures for the fabrication of a planar coaxial vehicle were developed. During this period, emphasis was placed on the applicability of dielectric systems for fabrication requirements interconnection techniques, including electroless deposition methods assembly and lamination of mating parts and electrical testing of completed vehicles. A review of various epoxy systems was made to determine their suitability for the fabrication methods developed. Close examination was made as to such desirable properties as low shrinkage rate, low porosity, high adhesion, application for surface finishing, receptiveness to subsequent electrodeposition, low dielectric constant and low water absorption rate. Electrical test data of coaxial vehicles were evaluated in relation to the physical geometry of the units to provide desired direction for future designs. Author, modified.
