Abstract:

A detailed examination has been made of general aviation flying between the years 1954 and 1964. Based on this examination and the outlook for the industry, a forecast has been made for the year 1975. Such a forecast is required as a guide to the long-range planning necessary to enable the Federal Aviation Agency to meet its responsibilities for the establishment and operation of a safe and adequate airway system for all potential users - military, air carrier, and general aviation.
