Examined is the problem of periodic motions near collinear points of libration in the plane restricted problem of three bodies. With the aid of the Lyapunov methods, it is demonstrated that around each collinear point of libration a continuous family of periodic motions exists, dependent on one arbitrary constant. Examined is the stability of the indicated periodic motions it is shown that they are unstable. Also established is the orbital instability of the periodic motions under study.
