Abstract:
The paper contains specifications to control the solutions and processes for the various metals and alloys. A method for determining whether any step in the process can accelerate stress corrosion in aluminum alloys and corrosion resisting steels, or cause hydrogen embrittlement in steel and titanium alloys susceptible to such embrittlement, is desired for incorporation into the specification as well as establishment of criteria for assessing the severity of such effects. The project contains Aluminum Alloys Steels Titanium Alloys. Author
