Upon purification of precipitating anthrax antiserum and its globulin fractions with chloroform, their specific activity was not reduced the quality of preparation became completely transparent and was free of ballast protein. Nonspecific group precipitins were removed from labeled precipitating anthrax antiserum and its gamma-globulin fraction by the method of adsorption on a mixture of anthracoids 15 million - 30 million bacterial cells per ml during 10-15 minutes at room temperature.
