Abstract:
The report describes the computer programs written to extend the static balance method of calculating shear and bending moment responses to include a wide range of wave heights, lengths, and positions with respect to amidships for a ship vertically balanced in head-on trochoidal waves. The program has the option of including or omitting the Smith correction, and the final data may be presented in either tabular or graphical form. Author
