Abstract:

Consideration is given to some peculiarities of experimental determination of coefficients of rotational derivatives during established or damped harmonic oscillations of a model with constant average flow rate and small amplitude of oscillations. Technical difficulties are caused basically by requirements of high accuracy of measurements of instantaneous values of aerodynamic forces and of moments on fluctuating models, for which it is necessary to eliminate a number of errors and distortions in measurements, and also to eliminate forces of inertia. Oscillations with rigid and elastic constraint are examined. Methods of forced and free oscillations are investigated. Results of these investigations are discussed and explained. A discussion is given of breakaway of viscous liquid flow around angular points of contour of a solid and conditions at which this occurs. Interaction of boundary layer and external flow is investigated. Motion equations of viscous gas are presented and calculated. Boundary layer is calculated. Author
