Abstract:
Rats rendered hypothyroid by thyroidectomy or by ingestion of propylthiouracil demonstrated an initial depression of serum antiplasmin activity followed by a restoration to preoperative levels. Administration of thyroxine or triiodothyronine to normal or hypothyroid rats produced a marked and persistent decrease in antiplasmin titer. Author
