The Memorandum has three main objectives 1 to describe simply and clearly the major characteristics and operating features of each of the more important scheduling techniques currently available to military management 2 to compare and evaluate the techniques in terms of their applicability to the acquisition of weapon systems and 3 to define areas for further research leading to improvement in the scheduling state of the art.
