Abstract:

The three-body interaction energy for three hydrogen atoms a, b and c at large distances Rab, Rbc and Rca from each other is calculated to be 21.6425 3 cos Theta-a cos Theta-b cos Theta-c 1Rab cubed X Rbc cubed X Rca cubed atomic units, where Theta-a, Theta-b and Theta-c are the internal angles of the triangle abc.
