Abstract:

An assessment of the thermal and electrical behaviour of UHF power transistors is made and compared with measurements on the best devices at present available. It is concluded that a transistor with a dissipation of 50 watts and a power gain of 6 db at 400 Mcs is just about within the limits of present-day technology. Author
