Abstract:

Use of intramuscular injections of chemotrypsin in the treatment of fractures of the lower jaw considerably betters the patients general condition. The counter inflammatory effect of the proteolytic enzymes promotes quicker absorption of the hematoma, elimination of the inflammatory phenomena in the region of the fracture and decreases pain.
