Abstract:
Approaches to peace in Southeast Asia are examined and discussed. It is concluded that Military success is a necessary, but insufficient condition for a favorable outcome in Southeast Asia. However, expensive and inefficient, military success can only provide the background requirement for progress toward justice, economic improvement and government stability.
