The report covers the physiological responses of the human and means of achieving maximum discrimination between critical and neutral stimuli. Consideration is given to the social context in which the response is solicitated, the selection of the most useful psychophysiologic variable, methods of recording and analyzing the data by computers and the limits imposed by the existing knowledge.
