Abstract:
The report represents the results of a study conducted to find the optimal layout of electronic equipment for the airborne Combat Information Center for the PO-2W aircraft. It was found that, in arranging equipment in an airborne CIC, there were four levels of importance into which the various considerations fell 1 Availability of central displays 2 Observation of the activities of certain personnel by the CIC Officer, Ability of the CIC officer to talk to certain personnel without phones, Flight maintenance facility 3 Ease of personnel traffic, Crew comfort and 4 Ground maintenance facility.
