Abstract:
The work presents the results of research on the processed aging in beryllium alloys containing 0.3 Cr or 0.3 Zr, prepared from distilled beryllium 99.95 and electrolytic chromium 99.7 or iodide zirconium 99.9. An analysis of these results confirms the conclusion reached earlier that almost complete precipitation of Cr from the matrix occurs during aging. In the case of Be-Zr alloy zirconium apparently not only completely precipitates from the matrix, but also promotes precipitation of other impurities. Author
