Results of studies in the following areas are briefly summarized Collisional-radiative recombination of He into dissociative states temperature dependence of the rate of conversion of He into He2 atomic and molecular emission in the negative glow of a helium discharge spectroscopic investigation of the helium-neon molecule application of the Franck-Condon principle to molecular excitation by collision with excited atoms and molecules Hornbeck-Molnar cross-sections for the n3 states of helium inelastic excitation transfer in helium.
