MITRE CORP BEDFORD MA
Pagination or Media Count:
The legibility of standard Leroy alphanumeric symbols was compared with a new font, the LincolnMITRE LM font. Legibility was tested by having human subjects attempt to identify the symbols when seen one at a time for a brief exposure period. The results showed the LM font to be more legible than the standard Leroy. It is recommended that the two fonts be compared in a similar test on a TV monitor this study is presently being conducted.
