Abstract:
Ninety-nine Ss were given a projective test of Hostile Press motivation Birney, Burdick, and Teevan, 1964. Thirty-nine of the Ss both male and female were members of groups actively protesting the United States military policy in Viet Nam while sixty Ss were non-protest group members. The protest group Ss had significantly higher Hostile Press scores than the non-protest group members. Some speculative interpretation of the results was attempted. Author
