Two thousand three hundred fifty eight 2.358 raw meat samples were analyzed for putrefactive and botulinal spores. Of 19,727 P.A. isolates, only one was botulinal Type C. 77 of the samples had 3 P.A.sg or less. The overall mean was 2.82 P.A.sg.
