Abstract:

The possibility of using high-energy electron scattering to investigate the cluster model of light nuclei is discussed. The general formulation of the electron-cluster coincidence cross section for processes of the type Ae,e bB is given. Final state interactions between the ejected cluster and the residual nucleus are taken into account using a square well optical-model potential. Finally, the formalism is applied to the process Li6e,e dHe4 as an example. Author
