The article presents theoretical principles for calculating the vibration period of clock escapement regulators without natural vibrations, taking into account the effect of dynamic factors on the magnitude of the period. The formulas obtained contribute to an understanding of certain laws governing the operation of these regulators slight dependence of the balances vibration range upon the moment of the motive force, the negligible influence of great changes in the moment of inertia of the train upon the magnitude of the vibration period etc. and may be useful in the designing of clockworks and the calculation of vibration periods.
