Abstract:

Brief descriptions are given of four propeller problems which are programmed on the high-speed computers. These problems are 1 propeller design calculations using induction factors, 2 counterrotating propeller design calculations, 3 propeller blade stresses using simple beam theory, and 4 two-dimensional airfoil pressure distribution. The procedure for the preparation of data forms is explained and samples of data sheets as well as machine output sheets are included for each problem. Author
