A set of eight non-real-time service programs was written in support of the Haystack Pointing System to facilitate system maintenance and updating. Peripheral functions afforded by this set of programs include 1 format conversion and remote printing facility of the SPURT assembler printer outputs 210, 211 and 212 2 magnetic tape dumping 3 effective punched card input to SPURT assembler 4 CalComp plotting of system output 5 punched card equivalents of Common Storage Allocation Tape 6 automatic program loading with bootstrap tape generation facilities 7 magnetic tape duplication and 8 automatic updating of system tapes.
