Abstract:

Predictions of the relative phase of seven very-lowfrequency vlf transmissions as received at selected receiver locations, during the summer and winter solstice, and the spring and fall equinox, are presented. The vlf transmitting stations and the operating frequencies considered are NWC 15.5 kcs, NPM 26.1 kcs, NPG 18.6 kcs, NAA 17.8 kcs, NBA 24.0 kcs, NSS 21.4 kcs, and GBR 16.0 kcs. The receiving locations used are Guam, Honolulu, San Francisco, San Juan, Norfolk, Keflavik, Port Lyautey, and Asmara.
