Abstract:

Hydrogen-oxygen flames were investigated under conditions, when in the combustion zone temperatures and pressures are realized, corresponding to an ignition peninsula. It appears possible to use the well-known mechanism of chemical reactions and velocity constants for kinetic calculation of flame propagation. Calculations were carried out on an electronic computer and showed, that at proper selection reaction rate constants, the experiment can be described with great accuracy. Selection of values of process rate constants H O2 M6 yields HO1 M very strongly affects the calculation results, so that from comparing the results of calculations and experiment its value can be derived.
