Abstract:

This article examines the limitations on the cross section of the radiation beam from optical quantum generators. In optical quantum generators of a steady state, when there are extremely high transverse resonator dimensions, a cross section limitation of the radiation beam is theoretically possible because of a retardation of reciptocal action in the remote ranges of the generator, or a detuning of theeigen-frequencies of discrete resonator sections. In optical pulse generators generators with a Q-modulation 1,2, the cross section limitation arises because the process of radiation generation by the material occurs during the stabilization sequence period of the resonators oscillation modes.
