The intestinal absorption of cobalt and manganese was increased in rats rendered iron deficient by bleeding and diet. The intestinal absorption of cesium, magnesium, mercury, calcium, and copper was not increased in rats consuming an iron-deficient diet but was unchanged in bled rats. Author
