Abstract:
The decomposition kinetics of the phenylhydrosilanes mono-, di-, and triphenylsilane were studied with the aid of flow techniques. Decomposition occurs via second-order disproportionation reactions. Based on the kinetic factors of entropy and energy of activation and pre-exponentional factor, it is concluded that the decomposition occurs via a four-centered activated complex. Author
