Abstract:

A semi-popular discussion concerning the reconstructed ecological setting of mamoths in the Arctic, the ancient distribution of warm ocean currents in the arctic with particular reference to the Chesha Strait, a proposed scheme for deflecting the Gulf Stream into the Southern Barents Sea for the purpose of warming certain areas of the Arctic.
