Abstract:
An investigation was performed on a model of the Bullpup B missile in order to determine the aerodynamic effects of various body shapes, various canard sizes and hinge locations, and a number of wing roll-tab deflections. The tests were performed over a Mach number range from 0.8 to 1.17 and an angle-of-attack range from -4 deg. to 10 deg. at roll angles of 0, 11 14, 22 12, and 45 degrees. In addition to conventional six-component force data, canard hinge moments were measured at various canard deflections. The report presents the data without analysis.Author
