Abstract:

Molecular beam investigations were continued with the Ramsey interferometers separated by 27 inches. This operation yields a linewidth as narrow as 350 cps. Broadening effects continue to be present. A description is given of a molecular beam apparatus which is being prepared for observations on lithium fluoride. Various experimental aspects of the molecular beam work and of millimeter techniques are discussed. Author
