Abstract:
The first section of this paper contains an analysis of experimental data obtained during special observations at the Koltushi station during the summers of 1957 and 1958. The second contains a theoretical solution of the problem of the diurnal variation of humidity, using the equation of eddy diffusion of water vapor. The eddy coefficient is assumed to be both height- and time-dependent. An example is given of the calculation of the diurnal variation of humidity, and the computational and experimental results are compared. Author
