Abstract:
A mixture of plague, tularemia and brucella vaccines were inoculated simultaneously on a separate skin area with the STI anthrax vaccine to guinea pigs. In such a combination of the four live antigens the STI vaccine lost its immunogenicity greatly. This effect was absent if the STI vaccine was inoculated 15, 10, 8, 6 days before the immunization with a complex of the rest three live vaccines. Depression of the anthrax antigen followed not only a simultaneous inoculation of the three other vaccines, but also of any two of these components. The STI vaccine by itself had no depressive effect on the immunological efficacy of the plague, tularemia and brucella vaccines. Author
