Abstract:

Recent efforts in the Graphics Program have concentrated on the development of a Graphical Service System, display routines compatible with the new timesharing system, APEX, and a universal translator, VITAL, which will be used to generate a graphical compiler. Programs for clipping and approximating conic segments have been developed and initial experiments which apply graphical techniques to procedure description have been attempted.
