Abstract:
The method of small perturbations to study the stability of powder combustion with consideration of heat release in the surface of the condensation phase k-phase, assuming that the combustion zone in the gas and the region of the chemical reaction in the k-phase immediately adjacent to the gasification surface are without inertia. A stability condition for powder combustion is derived for the two possible combustion regimes.
