Abstract:
The angular distribution of 416 electron-electron scattering events occurring when beams of 300 MeV electrons collide has been measured. The experimental angular distribution was compared with that predicted by the Moller formula with a cut-off on the photon propagator. The best fit occurs for 1K about 0.18 Fermi. The value 1K O no breakdown of quantum electrodynamics is only one standard deviation from the best fit.
