The invention has as its object a production process for a thermostable, organic silane of formula ROnSiY4-n, where R is an aryloxyaryl group, Y is an aryl or thienyl radical, and n is an integer between 1 and 4. A silicon halogenide of formula SiXnY4-n where X is a halogen atom is brought to reaction with an aryloxyphenol of formula R. OH, in the presence of a basic oxide. The resultant organo-silane is one of the following phenyltri-3-phenoxyphenoxy silane, diphenyldi3-phenoxyphenoxysilane, triphenyl3phenoxyphenoxysilane, phenyltri2-phenoxyphenoxysilane, phenyl-2-thienyldi3 -phenoxyphenoxysilane, diphenyl2-thienyl3 - phenoxyphenoxysilane, phenyl2-diphenylyldi3 -phenoxyphenoxysilane, phenyl4-diphenylyldi3 phenoxyphenoxysilane.
