The report summarizes three studies of unaided auditory localization of fixed noise sources. Pointing was as accurate as aiming at auditory targets in darkness. Elevation errors were not significantly larger than azimuth errors. Subjects with hearing deviations defects performed as well as non-deviant subjects normals in auditory localization.
