Abstract:

Results of a detailed survey in the region of the galactic plane between longitudes of 101 degrees and 140 degrees are presented. The 10-metre parabolic reflector of the National Research Council of Canada was used in this investigation, with a radiometer centred at 3200 Mcs and capable of detecting 0.1 degrees equivalent antenna temperature. In comparison with more central parts of the Milky Way, the emission from this region is not intense however, some twenty-five sources have been detected, and the relevant estimates of flux density, source size, and emission measure are listed.
