Abstract:

It was the purpose of this study to investigate the timelag phenomena associated with wind tunnel pressure measurements, and find a method for predicting the equilibrium pressure from the transient pressure conditions. In order to do this a mathematical model of the actual physical case was formulated. Actual transient pressure data was fitted by least squares to this model and the equilibrium pressure predicted.
