A new two-port structure, referred to as a Perfectly Coupled and Shunt-Augmented T, is defined and its properties are described. The classical Brune two-port can be recognized as a particular example of this general class of two-ports. There are three feasible types A, B, and C of perfectly coupled and shuntaugmented Ts. A tandem of two matched Ts of type AC or BC is equivalent to a lattice two-port. Suitable impedances can be transposed from one port to the other over the T whereby only the magnitudes of its elements are changed. The dual of this T is the Perfectly Coupled and Series-Augmented Pi. The discussion of these new kinds of two-ports is supplemented by ten numerical examples.
