Abstract:

Conclusions 1 The possibility has been demonstrated of using DS-2v color film in high-speed photography of self-luminous processes over a wide range of film speed 25 to 625 thousand framessec and a luminosity temperature of 2500 to 6000 degrees K. 2 The most flexible and simplest method of developing color film which satisfies the requirements of high-speed photography and accessibility to a wide circle of investigators was selected and put into practice. 3 A check was made of the optimum exposure regime using a layer of thallium yielding a three- to fourfold increase in sensitivity S-0.85 at a fog level D or 0.35. 4 The possibility of obtaining color motion picture films normal and stereoscopic as well as prints on color paper and positive film of high-speed, self-luminous processes was demonstrated.
