Abstract:

This is a study of the autonomic correlates of task roles under controlled behavioral conditions. Significant differences in skin potential adaptation were found which do not depend on differences in overt physical activity. The autonomic changes were related to success and failure and to role pairing. The mediation of these changes by subjects perceptions of their role is described. Author
