Abstract:

The linear aperture synthesis method of Woodward and Levinson is extended to a circular distribution. The extension includes circularly symmetric and nonsymmetric radiation patterns. The results are applicable to the design of reflector feeds and to electronically scanned arrays where a prescribed radiation pattern is desired. Author
