Abstract:
The persistatron is a thin film superconductive switching device with a most probable application as a memory or computer switching element. The purpose of this work is to 1 construct by means of thin film deposition and photo mask - photo resist techniques persistatrons both with and without superconductive ground planes. 2 compare the switching characteristics by testing those devices in their superconductive state.
