Earlier work presenting a technique for bounding displacements following impulsive loading in inelastic continua is extended to give more powerful results for stable work hardening materials. The extension is achieved by adding a self-evident statement regarding the material behavior to Druckers postulate of stability for time independent, path dependent solids. Author
